2^nd March 2021, Tuesday, The BDes (Industrial Design) student - Esha Vijayan won third prize in a Toy Design Challenge, an initiative by the government of India. The Challenge was an element of "The India Toy Fair 2021", initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The toy project was submitted under the amateur category on the theme of 'Toys for the specially challenged '. The project was carried out in December 2020, Esha conceptualized and submitted the toy project under the guidance of Dheeraj Chug - Associate Professor, School of Design as a part of the Abled Lab.
